Commission wraps up consultation on the EU Public Procurement Revision

The Public Consultation and Call for Evidence supporting the revision of the 2014 Public Procurement Directives closed on 26 January. Conducted in parallel by the Commission’s Public Procurement unit, the consultation activities generated strong stakeholder engagement: 745 contributions submitted under the Call for Evidence and 1,037 responses received through the Public Consultation.

Contributions to the Call for Evidence are already publicly available on the Have Your Say portal, while responses to the Public Consultation will be analysed and synthesised in a concised summary report in the coming weeks. The Commission is now moving into the next phase of the process, which includes preparing the legal proposal, supported by a detailed impact assessment.
